What’s Xring
X rings also known as quad rings are a kind of seal . the especial design and the double cross section makes x rings useful in variety of dynamic a and static situations in industrial equipment .
These features make x rings less vulnerable and more lasting . although the design is much like o rings but dividing the pressure between two small parts makes it excellent for starting the work with less pressure .
materials
the material depending on your need can be NBR , FKM , EPDM , Silicon or CR .
performence
Silicon X rings are used for temperatures more then 180 c ; NBR X rings are used for dealing with industrial oils and dynamic systems that have more wear then usual .
FKM X rings are used in chemical , high temp , oil and … environments and EPDM X ring are mostly used in environments with high or low PH levels or if you are facing high levels of liquid hardness .
